Kate Holstein
Kate Holstein was born in Boulder, Colorado. Raised by a father who never left the house without a camera and a mother who brought creativity into every aspect of life. Kate fell in love with the mountains at an early age.
Holstein spent seven years as a professional skier. She lived in Chamonix, New York City, and New Zealand. Studied photography at Parsons School of Design. Taught yoga in Bali. Rode elephants in Thailand. Discovered light in Paris. Fell in love in Brazil. Got married barefoot in Mexico. “Grateful to spend every day doing what I love most; Telling stories of life's beautiful moments through photographs.” — Kate is based in Aspen, Colorado. Her work has been widely published in magazines, blogs, and books. She shoots a variety of material including travel, weddings, lifestyle and celebrity portraits. Her insatiable wanderlust has taken her all over the world, and it's through the lens of her camera that she seeks to share the incredible beauty she sees everywhere.
