The ultimate guide to the work of an undisputed master of still life and landscape painting, Giorgio Morandi

This volume constitutes the updated and renewed version of the General Catalogue of the Morandi Museum in Bologna, Italy, a point of reference not only for admirers of Italian artist Giorgio Morandi (1890–1964) but also for scholars and researchers from all over the world. The reprint and revision of the catalog is part of the process of enhancing the public status of one of the most important artists of the 20th century. New and previously unpublished historical-artistic contributions, an updated bibliography and list of exhibitions, and a renewed selection of illustrations accompanying the texts have been added to some of the texts already present in the previous edition. Every painting, engraving and drawing is an invitation to discover Morandi's art, with its passionate meditation on time, space, art and life.
