Rebecca, the creative force behind Thicket Jewelry, is a writer, designer, and nature enthusiast. Growing up in New England, she developed a deep connection to the natural world, which continues to inspire her work today. After gaining experience in New York and Paris, Rebecca settled in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she pursued an MFA in Poetry while exploring her passion for botanicals through her writing.
Thicket pieces are crafted using a unique process that begins with molding found botanical samples and natural objects. Through lost wax casting, these molds are transformed into solid fine metal replicas by an artisan casting house in New York City. The remaining stages of production take place in Rebecca's sunny studio in Portland, Maine, where each piece is meticulously handcrafted.
Committed to sustainability, Thicket Jewelry prioritizes the use of recycled fine metals in its creations. While striving to exclusively use recycled metals, Rebecca ensures that every piece is made to withstand the test of time and constant wear. Solid sterling silver and 14k gold are chosen for their durability and longevity, and can be easily recycled and remade when their lifetime eventually comes to an end.
Please note that all purchases are FINAL for Jewelry.
