Damiani

Founded in 2004 within the historic Grafiche Damiani lithography studio in Bologna, Damiani is an independent publishing house rooted in a legacy of fine art and photography printing. Created by Andrea Albertini and now led by Silvia Pesci, Damiani blends expert craftsmanship with a contemporary vision. Focused on quality over quantity, each book is carefully selected and crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Damiani’s mission is to create books that are both visual narratives and collectible objects—sharing untold stories, engaging collectors, and reaching wider audiences. Its diverse catalog spans photography, architecture, design, pop culture, fashion, collecting, and sports, while also embracing socially relevant themes such as minority rights and LGBTQ+ issues. Since 2012, Damiani has proudly partnered with Toiletpaper, the irreverent magazine by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari. Each book is made to be experienced, displayed, and shared.
