Banjanan began unexpectedly, seven thousand miles from home, when founder Caroline Weller—after years leading NYC design teams—moved to India and was inspired by its vibrant culture and traditions. The daughter of a magician, Caroline drew on her global travels and vivid imagination to create prints full of color and whimsy. Partnering closely with Indian artisans, she honors age-old techniques like hand-printing and weaving on traditional looms. The result is Banjanan: a collection of wearable art, crafted slowly and beautifully by hand.
