The Finishing Touch, Coffee Table Books
A beautifully styled coffee table isn’t complete without a curated stack of books. Whether you love to entertain or simply enjoy quiet moments at home, coffee table books add color, personality, and a sense of place. At Clic, we carry an evolving selection of art, fashion, and travel books that are just as delightful to flip through as they are to display. Here’s how to style them,by color, mood, and theme.

The Colorful Escape: Assouline Travel Books
Start with a splash of color. Assouline’s iconic travel books are bold, bright, and immediately eye-catching. Each one feels like a little vacation, whether it’s Kyoto Serenity, Capri Dolce Vite, or Marbella Sol. These books celebrate the world’s most picturesque destinations with vibrant covers and sun-soaked photography. They’re ideal for injecting joy and wanderlust into a room. Stack three or five in contrasting tones to create a lively base layer on your coffee table or console.

Timeless Contrast: Black and White Fashion Books
For a classic and elegant touch, opt for books in black and white. These timeless volumes bring depth and contrast to lighter-toned surfaces. Titles like Vogue on Location, Vogue Fantasy & Fashion, Louis Vuitton Manufactures, and Yves Saint Laurent at Home celebrate haute couture and iconic design through rich photography and sleek styling. Their neutral palette makes them easy to pair with sculptural objects or monochrome accessories.

Warm and Earthy: Beige, Brown & Natural Tones
Looking to create a more grounded and serene atmosphere? Books in soft neutrals and warm earth tones are perfect for layering in cozy, lived-in textures. Think Tuscany Artists at Home, Ralph Lauren, or Golden Light, volumes that blend lifestyle, landscape, and heritage. These books pair beautifully with natural materials like wood, linen, and clay. Place them alongside a woven basket or a ceramic vase for a soft, sophisticated vignette.
Whether you’re styling a space or simply collecting stories, coffee table books are a beautiful bridge between decor and discovery. At Clic, we’re constantly refreshing our selection to reflect the places, people, and aesthetics we love most.

Moreover, we are also thrilled to annouce a new artist to our gallery Jacques Malignon
The Playful Eye of Jacques Malignon, New to The Gallery
At Clic, we’re drawn to artists who see the world a little differently, who capture the everyday with a twist, or find beauty in the unexpected. Photographer Jacques Malignon does just that. His work, full of sharp wit and surreal moments, is a celebration of color, composition, and curiosity.
Born in France in 1920, Malignon came of age during a transformative moment in photography. While others were documenting war or fashion, Malignon carved out his own niche: playful, ironic, and always a little mysterious. Working primarily in the 1950s through the 1970s, his photographs often feature carefully staged scenes, sometimes humorous, sometimes haunting, always visually striking.
What sets his work apart is its timelessness. Even now, decades later, Malignon’s photographs feel fresh. In Iman, a woman dressed to the nines in all red, including heels, a scarf and gloves on a boat in the middle of a surreal oceanscape. A bold juxtaposition scene that wouldn’t be out of place on a modern Instagram feed. He had an eye for balance, shadow, and the absurd each frame feels like a moment suspended just before or after something unexpected happens.
At Clic, we’re honored to showcase Jacques Malignon’s work in our curated art collection. His pieces bring a sense of movement and imagination to interiors, perfect for those who love photography with a strong sense of story and style. Whether displayed on a gallery wall or leaned casually on a shelf, his prints are conversation starters.
A photograph can change a room, just like it can change the way we see the world.
