Wabi Sabi Bowl, from Hello Homeboy

Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese cultural viewpoint and aesthetic concept that embraces the beauty in "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete” objects. Because the nature of ceramics is mostly inconsistent, each item made by hand on the wheel has Wabi-Sabi like characteristics. The brush stoke splatter glaze on these snack/tea bowls was a deliberate approach on carrying out the imperfect yet beautiful differences in each piece, making each little bowl inherently unique. Made of red stoneware, these bowls are quite versatile, making them perfect for enjoying small bites, organizing spices while you cook, or drinking your morning tea!
